Benjamin J. Taylor has a strong background in Management and Customer Service. With fifteen years of experience in the Service Industry, Ben truly has a desire to exceed the expectations of his Clients. Holding various management positions throughout his work history, Ben understands the challenges of the business owner and the need for the business owner to be able to focus on the core of his business. At Tailored Business, Ben promotes the philosophy that the staff must have a heart to serve. This philosophy is followed with a firm belief that when the first priority is to serve, success will naturally follow.

Starting in the late 1980's, Ben began his management career as a kitchen supervisor in a restaurant located on the campus-area of the University of Tennessee. Working his way up, Ben soon became the Soux Chef of the Radisson Hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee. Eventually, Ben became the Service Director/Operations Manager of the Nashville City Club of Club Corporation of America. In Ben's eight-year career with Club Corporation of America he was responsible for developing the training procedures for detailed fine dining, budgeting and generating revenue in the realm of 1.5 million annually. In 2002, Ben was voted the number one Operations Manager of over 1400 business and country clubs.

While working at the Nashville City Club, Ben also worked to generate direct sales for ProAct, a Professional Employer Organization. This experience furthered Ben's ability to negotiate on the CEO level and understand the needs of today's business owner.

Since the inception of Tailored Business in late 2001, Ben's input to the company has been invaluable. He has served as Secretary/Treasurer as well as advisor to the shareholders of Tailored Business. In March of 2004, Ben became a fully active Officer of the company. As a licensed producer of insurance, Ben enhances the value of the service Tailored Business performs for its Clients, truly making Tailored Business the perfect solution to navigating today's business environment.
